Coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups in the Northeast geo-political zone has urged the party to concede the national secretary position to Taraba State.

In a statement yesterday, the coordinator, Abdulhamid Yazeed, said since Borno State produced the senate president in Ahmed Lawan, it would be fair to allow Taraba to produce the secretary.

According to the group, it would be unfair to zone the position of the national secretary to Yobe, despite the deficit of positions in other APC states in the zone.

It expressed worry over the “non-inclusion of Taraba” in the APC political arrangement.
