As part of efforts to boost information technology knowledge in the nation’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) ecosystem, Aceplora, an Edutech company in Nigeria, has reiterated its commitment in providing training that will help kids and young adults to adequately prepare for job opportunities in the global tech space.

In a statement by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Maureen Ani, She affirmed that Aceplora will be providing training in high demand tech skills like coding, robotics, 3D printing and modelling, AI, game development, UI/UX design and several other skills.

She explained that their primary aim is to ensure that learning coding and other tech skills become as simple as learning to read and write.

However Aceplora’s curriculum and teaching methods have been skilfully developed by professionals in our partner institutions in the US and UK, with the objective of making coding as easy and fun as reading and writing.

Aceplora employs a simple and personalised approach to learning, leveraging quality lesson plans from the best tutors to amplify each student’s learning ability, the statement said.

According to her, the impact of this kind of training on a child’s education is wonderful and far-reaching.

“This programme will help kids discover the tech genius inside of them, build confidence quickly and lay a good foundation that will carry the kids through basic school, university and throughout their life-long learning journey. Above all, the Aceplora TechCamp will equip your child with today’s in-demand career tech skills.

“It is therefore imperative that investments are made in education that will help young students be the best they can be and in learning tech skills that prepare them for future jobs in various disciplines, thus making them citizens for the world of tomorrow who will think global and act local.

“We offer courses for kids and young adults, from ages five up to the young graduates. There are different classes for students of different age groups and competency levels. All our staff, our venues, equipment and facilities are HSE compliant,” she stated.

She explained that classes would commence this month, as the company is hosting a summer holiday tech camp for kids all over the world and in Nigeria. Classes will be held both online via their website and onsite in the city of Port Harcourt.
