Speaking at the formal handover of the projects to the beneficiaries, the Managing Director of NBL , Mr. Paul Hamers, represented by the Aba Brewery/Aba Malt Plant Manager, Mr. Uche Igbokwe, said that the projects were effected in line with NBL policy of supporting education in Nigeria and demonstration of its social responsibility to communities in which it operates.

His education counterpart, who received the buildings on behalf of the state government, Dr. (Mrs.) Rose Ekeleme, noted that the two blocks were completed within three months and equipped with individualised desks and chairs.
She assured NBL that best uses would be made of them remarking that though many corporate organisations operate in the state, NBL excelled in fulfilling social responsibility to communities in which it operates.
She consequently urged others to emulate NBL even as she canvassed mass patronage of the NBL products to encourage it do more for the people.
Both headmistress of the school, Mrs. Harriet Ndubueze and Principal of National High School, Mr. Raymond Onuoha thanked NBL for the facility donated, pledging that they will make the best use of them.
