CIBN to review diversification strategies at awards ceremony
As part of measures to improve and sustain the performance and growth of the economy, stakeholders in the banking industry and seasoned experts from the financial sector will gather in Lagos to deliberate and articulate strategies for the diversification of revenue base for Nigeria.
The review is expected to hold at the investiture ceremony organized by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Lagos.
Themed “Diversifying the Revenue Base of the Nigerian Economy: Strategy Options”, the discussions would be led by the Country Director, World Bank, Rachid Benmessaoud and Country Director, Africa Development Bank, Dr. Ousmane Dore..
According to a statement from the Institute, more than 200 bankers who have garnered over 10 years post ACIB qualification experience and have also distinguished themselves in their various professional careers will be invested as Fellows, Honorary Fellows and Honorary Senior Members of the Institute.
