As part of the ongoing business re-engineering, our organization wishes to recruit into the following positions:

DIRECTOR, CORPORATE SERVICES
The director is responsible for the direction and management of the Corporate Services Department (HR/Admin Unit, Facility Unit, Security Unit), deploying international best practice to enhance the capacities of human capital. The Director of Corporate services reports directly to the Group CEO.

  • He or she will advise the Group Chief Executive Officer on the formation, development and application of policy and strategic decisions relating to the Corporate Services department of a media organization as a strategic business partner.
  •  He or she will actively be responsible for supporting, developing and implementing the organization`s strategic plans in line with the company vision, mission and operating values.
  •  He or she will develop and embed a culture of customer focus and performance management to ensure high quality and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  •  He or she will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-level systems and services for all administrative functions within the organization including human resources, budget, finance, facilities, security and talent management systems.
  • He or she will ensure regular and effective communication between Corporate Services and other departments.
  •  He or she must have the ability and experience to motivate and drive the Management and members of staff to achieve both the overall company targets and key performance objectives.
  •  He or she is responsible for developing, implementing and improving the organisations approach to risk management.
  • He or she will lead the development and implementation of HR management systems, including recruitment and introduction of HR software.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Group CEO.

The ideal candidates will be required to possess the following skills and qualities;

  • A strong proven track record in relationship building and management
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • An understanding of recruitment needs and employability advice
  • Ability to produce comprehensive reports for Executive Management Team
  • Commitment and strict adherence to the organization`s policies and
    procedures.
  • References to support the consistent achievement of targets

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management or Public Administration, Business Administration or any other related subject isrequired. A master’s degree, CIPM certification and other relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

Candidates should have 10-15 years of cognate experience with reputable organization(s).

INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Internal audit manager will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, creating a disciplined approach for the organization`s processes to be monitored continuously and through meticulous audits. He or she will work independently and be reporting to the Group CEO and the Board on issues pertaining to risk management, internal controls and compliance to the organization`s policy and procedures.

He or she will ensure that governance and compliance are controlled and met; and, that the accounting procedures are implemented accordingly.

He or she will be responsible for carrying out the following responsibilities:

  •  Assess organization`s risk management processes and make appropriate recommendation. A key part of this role is performing full internal audits on risk management, control management and financial reliability.
  • Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws and statutes.
  • Evaluate internal control and make recommendations on how to improve.
  • Guide staff members on risk assets management,
  • Prepare periodic audit reports to the Management and the Board.
  • Research emerging issues on risk assets management and international.
  • best practice in discharging of internal audit responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Group CEO.

Qualifications:

Suitable candidates should possess minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or an MBA. Must be a Chartered Accountant with a firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and FIRS (International Financial Reporting Standard).

Experience:

Candidates should have 8-10 years experience with a reputable organization.

GENERAL MANAGER (Abuja Office)

The General Manager will be the head of our Abuja office and will be responsible for carrying out the overall strategic management of operational responsibilities of the organization in entire Northern Nigeria as directed by the Group Chief.

Executive Officer. He or she will oversee the annual operating budget of the Abuja office and Northern Nigeria.

  • He or she will implement the ongoing structural reorganization and business process reengineering in the Abuja Office and Northern Nigeria.
  • He or she will work with the company management to uphold and achieve the company vision, mission and operating values.
  • He or she must be a strong leader and a team player with the ability to relate with people at all levels internally and externally.
  • He or she will make financial decisions to ensure adherence to budgets and internal control procedures.
  • He or she will lead the marketing initiatives and implement revenue drives to support the achievement of business goals.
  • He or she will monitor performance benchmarks, cost variances and internal/external stakeholders’ management.
  • He will prepare periodic operating reports to the management.
  • He or she will conduct market research to optimize company resources.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Group CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or an MBA is required. Other relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

Candidates should have 10 -15 years experience with reputable organization(s).
