Paragon Lemon Multipurpose Detergent has emerged as the winner of the Most Innovative Premium Multi-purpose Detergent Brand of the Year Award at the African Brand Innovators’ Summit (AFRIBIS) Award held in Lagos.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Allied Integrated Promotion and Management Limited, Obinna Ndukwe, while presenting the award to Juleon Nigeria’s Managing Director, Dr Leonard Akanador, said: “Paragon Lemon Multipurpose Detergent has been adjudged by our team of researchers as the best multipurpose detergent in Africa, south of the Sahara.”

Akanador thanked the AFRIBIS 2023 Award organisers for the recognition, adding: “This award will make the company work harder to justify the recognition by upgrading the standard of our products.

“It is a recognition of hard work and consistency over the past 23 years. The award will make the company to be more efficient in satisfying the needs of our corporate clients”

Commenting on the new administration, he said President Bola Tinubu’s fiscal policy was affecting business owners.

He urged the government to realise that small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) are the life wire of the economy saying the government should place SMEs at the centre of its policies.

“The forex unification is a good thing. It will give everyone a level playing ground in the long run but in the interim, it is affecting business owners, especially those of us importing our raw materials,” he said.
