Group pledges to create jobs, establish documentation Centres
The Head of Implementation of the Basic Registry and information System in Nigeria [BRISIN], Anthony Uwa has pledged his organisation commitment to create no less than one million jobs yearly for Nigerian youths with the establishment of Documentation Centres across all Wards in Nigeria.
He said: ‘’Based on the experience of Italy, BRISIN will be able to create employment at the grass-root level by the establishment of Documentation Centres in all wards which can lead to the employment of over one million Nigerians yearly, it will also give correct and timely information on employment’’.
Addressing Journalist in Abuja, Uwa said other objectives of BRISIN includes aiding rapid socio-economic growth and development of Nigeria through information provision on revenue and taxation, health and sanitation, security and civil protection, electoral and elections as well as social service, assist the federal, states and local government to have value added instrument for re-basing of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as well as promote economic growth among others.
