The Nigerian-Belgian Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has announced the appointment of Jennifer Iwuoha-Daniels as its new General Manager (GM). She is also the GM of the chamber’s consulting and services arm, the Nigerian-Belgian Commercial Information and Documentation Centre (NBCIDC), as well as the new Coordinator for the Chamber at the Europe Enterprise Network (EEN), where she took over from her predecessor, Janika Ayeni.

A statement by the chamber, explained that Iwuoha-Daniels, comes with a wealth of experience, working in diverse industries and functions, both in Nigeria and in France, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s degree in business management.

It said she and Marc Eeckhout, who doubles as a board member and provides general counsel to the chamber, are responsible for all strategic and commercial directions of the chamber.

On NBCC’s strategic focus for 2023, the chamber plans to introduce better dynamics in relationship management and ensure that its mission stays the same.

It said being the foremost bilateral chamber in Nigeria with the objective to bridge the gap between businesses in Nigeria and Belgium, it wants to promote NBCC as a preferred partner for promoting business activities for its members and getting a broader reach.

This it said, is to provide networking opportunities through the year’s events and value-added services.

“To effectively communicate opportunities to our members. To enforce our Enterprise Europe Netawork (EEN) strength to enable our members (Nigerian companies: SME or large-scale enterprises) who want to export their business have access to a broad network,” the statement said.
