THE Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM) has appointed Tony Fadaka, as the new substantive Registrar/Chief Executive, with effect from February 2, 2016.

Prior to this new appointment, Fadaka who took over from the immediate past Registrar/Chief Executive, Mohammed Sulaiman, an engineer, was the erstwhile Deputy Registrar of the Institute.

He has worked as a commercial, cost control, and sales personnel, as well as procurement and sourcing administrator, and has been in general management and leadership for over twenty-five years and has vast knowledge of working operations of various economic sectors.

Fadaka started his working career as a Commercial Officer with Setraco Nigeria Ltd, before moving to Atlas Petroleum International Ltd, Lagos as Administration Manager, then to the Nigerian Telephony and Telecommunications Incorporated (NITTI) as Deputy Manager, Commercial, before being elevated to the position of Manager, National & Long Distance Services in 2001.

He moved to Projects Direct Nigeria Ltd as Director of Operations in September 2004 where he worked till January 2011 when he was appointed Director, Membership Services at Institute of Directors Nigeria and elevated to the position of Acting Director General/Chief Executive Officer in 2013, a position he held till May 2014.
