SHRM’s vice president, Wallack, Ikpoki to address ‘Future-Ready’ seminar

Executive Vice President in charge of Global Business Development, at the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Howard Wallack, will be the keynote speaker at a special capability development seminar for human resources professionals based in Nigeria.

According to organisers, plans are in top gear for the development seminar, which holds immense benefit for human resources professionals based in Nigeria. The seminar tagged the “Future–Ready HR,” will hold ‪on Thursday April 7, 2016 at the Institute of Directors, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Wallace will lead a distinguished panel of professionals to address the challenges of human resources’ changing role within organisations in a dynamic business climate, at the event, which the President of the SHRM Members Forum in Nigeria, Oliver Nnona, said, “will be the richest and most rewarding HR event of the year.”

Nigeria, is co-hosting the event in concert with SHRM’s authorised learning partner for Nigeria, Skills-Farm Limited. Other speakers expected at the event include the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Proscen and the immediate past CEO of MTN Nigeria Michael Ikpoki, and the Head of Human Resources of Stanbic-IBTC Group, and Mrs. Funke Amobi.

The SHRM Future-Ready Event is part of the HR Strategy Roundtable offering by the SHRM Forum Nigeria. It is a highly sought-after event designed to share best practices amongst senior and growing human resources practitioners, who are members of SHRM and resident or working in Nigeria.

The event will feature a detailed keynote/presentation session, a question and answer session, followed by networking and interactions between members.
