Dance queen, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has been named brand ambassador of Ibucap to lead the Always with You in Pain campaign.

At the unveiling, the management of Shalina Healthcare said the brand has over 25 years been part of success stories of being part of people’s lives and it does it by relieving their pains and helping them get back to the things they love doing.

Speaking at the unveiling, Brand Manager, Ibucap, Chiuba Nwaosu, said: “Every pain has a story and every story has Ibucap, with this in mind, we picked Kaffy an energetic dancepreneur, choreographer and fitness coach to spearhead the brand’s social media campaign by building on last years #MyIbucapStory campaign, which saw people sharing their experience with the brand.

“This campaign marks another effort by brand to give back to the growing list of users of its pharmaceutical products through a social initiative powered by Ibucap a quality pain relief companion,” Nwaosu said.

Also speaking, Kaffy said a lot of people refer to her as a dancer, but she is also into advocacy for human excellence. “Dance is just a tool to penetrate into the minds of people to help them express themselves. Being part of this campaign is beyond being the face of the product.”

Speaking on the deal, she said: “Basically, for me, I like to help people relieve pains whether physical, mental or psychological. This deal will help me drive the narrative that I have always wanted to do and what I do with my foundation also is to reach communities.

“I did a lot of outreach during the COVID-19 lockdown and I did eyecare too before the COVID so, so I am very passionate about anything that has to do with health. This is like coming to a place that will empower me to do more for the masses and that is why all my conversation with this company has always be about the people and I found out that they also have the same intention.”
