After months of working on the movie project that saw Hollywood stars collaborate with their counterparts in Nollywood, KevStel Group Productions is set for the cinema debut of the movie Tempting Fate in Nigeria.

Billed for July 17, the stunning and heart-breaking movie, which premiered at the prestigious Rave Cinema during the 2015 Pan African Film Festival, was also screened at the USA Indie Fest.

According to the production outfit, the moving and riveting film, which was shot with state of the art equipment, will be released by Silverbird Film Distribution (W.A.) Ltd., in multiple top quality theatres in Nigeria and will be a great addition to the family entertainment in the new month.

The movie stars Nollywood’s Ramsey Nouah, who plays the part of Ugo. He is one of two brothers, who are portrayed in the film, following two very different paths in life. Ugo finds the life of crime appealing and is encouraged to do so by Scorpion, the gang leader characterized by the much-acclaimed Hollywood actor Dan Davies.

On the other hand, his brother Edu, played by Hollywood actor Andrew Onochie, is the calm, devoted Christian brother, who is afflicted with a life-threatening illness. With John Vogel, who provides an amazing performance as Detective Travis, the star studded cast consists of Tiffany Denise Turner as Tracey (Edu’s girlfriend), along with many other exceptional actors and actresses.

Directed by Hollywood director Kevin Nkem Nwankwor with Sulekh Suman as Director of Photography, the movie was shot in California and supported by Panavision, RED. Executive producers are Emmanuel Ojeah and Unoma Nwankwor.

Though expected to hit cinemas across the country, the movie Soundtrack for Tempting Fate is also ready for pre-order now on Amazon.com. Compiled by gifted performers such as Folorunso Obilana, Pedro Gonzalez Arbona, and Daniel Berk, the soundtrack featured also Jacobed Melgarejo.
