The story of Ngozi Nwosu calls to mind the miracles in times past. The only hope she had was that she was still breathing, though irregularly, after she had been diagnosed with a terminal ailment. Her own appearance was aptly put as ‘the miracle episode on Millionaire’.

After her winnings through the pair of Seun Oloketuyi and Lillian Amah-Aluko on the Show, she was aided abroad, and Ultima Limited was monitoring her progress as she was receiving medical attention at a London hospital. The thespian, Ngozi Nwosu is fully back on screen. She declared at a well-attended welcome party organized by her colleagues thus: “God used MTN and Ultima to give me a rare privilege-life’s second chance”.

That is just one of the 49 beneficiaries so far recorded on the Who Deserves segment of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? that has been solely sponsored by MTN for almost a decade now. Other beneficiaries are Pa Akinkunmi (Nigerian flag designer), Pa Moses Olaiya (Baba Sala), Pa Usman Pategi (Samaja), Pa Kasumu Yero (Uncle Gaga), Late Pa Sam Ibiam (First Goalkeeper), Coach Peter Fregene (Longest serving Goalkeeper), Lady, Jane Okwaraji (Late Samuel Okwaraji’s mother) amongst others.

The heartwarming and positive comments the Producers of the programme have been receiving are a clear testimony to almost N2 billion naira so far won in all the segments of the Show to which MTN has largely contributed. Ultima, the producers of the show are in top gear as they prepare to bring yet new captivating episodes on the Who Deserves segment in a couple of months. The programme currently airs on NTA, STV, DBN, MITV and Superscreen on Sunday evenings.
