In a surprising turn of events, religious critic and teacher Guru Deseye has redirected his focus from tackling Nigerian pastors to addressing single people looking to get married. Recently, he shared valuable insights on the do’s and don’ts for those seeking a life partner.

He reportedly began his admonishment by stating that prayers alone cannot alter the fundamental characters of individuals or salvage marriages doomed to fail. He also expressed concern about the increase in divorce in our society and went ahead to share some root causes.

Guru Deseye shared that the cause for the increase in divorce rates is that most married people are not joined together in holy matrimony by God. He also stated that people who have karmic debts are usually destined to be together in what he described as a karmic marriage.

He further disclosed that this type of marriage is one that is bound to end in divorce. He explained that this kind of marriage is plagued with limitless quarrels and problems.

In his final admonition, Deseye urged people who were engaged to find out if their spouse-to-be has a spiritual wife/husband. The religious teacher allegedly believes that spiritual partners are some of the causes of problems in marriages.
