Thespian Theatre Presents The Wizard Of Law This Weekend

The Thespian Family Theatre and Productions has concluded arrangement to stage Zulu Sofola’s The wizard of law on Saturday March 21 and Sunday March 22, 2015.

The play directed by Sola Roberts will be showing live at 10A Services, 10 Ikoya Avenue of Macpherson Street/Bourdillon Street, Ikoyi, Lagos by 3pm and 6pm on the two days. The presentation is a satirical comedy meant to highlight day-to-day challenges Nigerians are grappling with through embellishing the presentation with comedy scenes.

The play according to the Chief Accounting Officer of Thespian Theatre, Ayo Jaiyesimi, though is presented in a very light mood as it will be embellished with a lot of humour, it is meant to play up some critical issues through mirroring the society.

She promised that all those who are going to be part of the presentation are going to have a nice time and value for their money.

The lead actor, Abiodun Kazeem, said that he was glad to be part of the production because the play truly mirrors the present state of Nigeria and speaks to the country challenges.

For him, it is about the vicious circle of corruption and how everybody is point to the next person yet in one way instead of tackling the corruption within. According to him, Nigerians want change, yet they have not changed as individuals.

Another actor, Ife Salako, who is playing Rafiu, was also happy that he was picked to be part of the presentation. He commended the Thespian Theatre for packaging the show.

Besides tickets are available at Healthplus outlets at Ikeja City Mall, Allen Avenue, the Palms Mall and Lekki Phase 1, they are also available on online ticket stores.
