BOC Gases explains delay in filing financial statements with NSE
The management of BOC Gases Plc has explained its inability to meet the March 31 deadline for the filing of its 2015 Audited Financial Statements (AFS) with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The company, in a statement in Lagos and notice to its stakeholders signed by the Finance Director, Mr. Adeshina Alayaki, said: “Due to an outstanding matter on the treatment of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with our parent company, Linde AG of Germany, which is being resolved with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), we would not be able to file our 2015 AFS with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) before March 31, this year.
“As at today, we do not have an indication of when the matter would be resolved. However, all efforts are being made to ensure a speedy resolution towards the filing of the AFS as soon as possible.”
