A new food delivery platform, ChefCook.NG, has been launched in Lagos.

Speaking at the launch, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, JohnBosco Onyeme, said the platform is unique because it offers opportunity to every restaurateur, no matter how small, to showcase their services on the platform.

He said: “We are unique. We are not just after the big restaurants; we want the suya man on the street; the amala woman and even that akara woman on the street to come on board. We want those people who don’t have any person to talk to them, those that don’t have the money to advertise to come on board ChefCook food delivery platform.

“We are not a restaurant but a platform where restaurants can have their menu advertised for consumers. So, what we do is that through the on boarding process, we educate them on how to use the platform because it is important they understand how to use the platform.”

He noted that another unique feature of ChefCook is that the prices the restaurant operators sell their food in their shops is the same price they are going to sell online, unlike other food platforms, where prices vary between the physical shops and the online platforms.

He promised that the company would deliver food at the doorsteps of the buyers in a record time of 40 minutes maximum in any part of Lagos State and as ‘e dey hot’.
