Fidelity Bank presents prizes to promo winners

FIDELITY Bank Plc has presented a cheque of N1 million to the star prize winner in the ongoing ‘Save4Shelter’ promo held at the corporate headquarters of the bank, in Lagos.

Similarly, Opokie Nwabuzie Nwenyim who won the prize of N500, 000 in the third draw also received his prize while consolation prizes of fridges and generator sets were also presented to its customers.

The bank’s Chief Risk Officer, Fidelity Bank, Kevin Ugwuoke, said that this is the third prize presentation since the promo commenced three month ago.

According to him, the bank deemed it necessary to give out the prizes to the winners so that its customers and regulatory authorities will know that indeed keeps to its word.

“Today, we are giving out prizes to the people that won under our third draw of the ongoing promo. The promo also provided a platform for creating and deepening awareness about savings culture in the country and encouraging the youths as well as the unbanked to embrace the financial services system,” he said.

Ugwuoke explained that the presentation of the prize money was in fulfillment of the bank’s promise to reward customer loyalty and encourage a savings culture among Nigerians while other customers that won at different branches were also presented their different prizes simultaneously at their respective branches.

However, the star prize winner of N1 million by the National Association of Business and Management Student, Lagos City Polytechnic, Ikeja, who was represented by Metilelu Oluwaseyi expressed its gratitude to Fidelity bank.
“This is the first we are winning anything in a promo. This came to us as a big surprise but we are happy about it. Fidelity Bank has demonstrated transparency in the way they have handled the entire process,” he said.

Among the winners that were presented with prizes at the bank’s headquarters in Lagos include Geoffrey Chigozie Onyeaju and Emeka Pius Ezenwokike who won a refrigerator.
Ezenwokike expressed appreciation to the bank saying that he is so excited and thankful to God and happy to be associated with the Fidelity Bank.

“I never knew of the ongoing promo by the bank and when I was called that I won this prize. I doubted it, thinking it may be ‘the big boys again’, that they have tap my number, I decided to go to my branch to confirm it and it was actually true,” he said.

Also, the Divisional Head, Operations, Fidelity Bank, Martins Izuogbe, Congratulated the winners and assured that Fidelity Bank will continue to demonstrate its commitment to building an enduring relationship with its customers and in the process enrich their lives.

The ongoing promo has two more duplexes to be won, located in Lagos and Port Harcourt; over N20 million rent support; refrigerators and generators.

In all, a total of three duplex winners, 48 rent support winners and over 200 winners will emerge, inclusive of consolation prizes like fridges, generators, among others.
