The retreat which was facilitated by the Byron Institute dwelt extensively on the need for executives to modify their lifestyles to ensure peak performance. It identified that stress of all kinds and causes are major factors affecting performance in work places. It also emphasized the importance of recognizing and paying adequate attention to mental health and also developing strategies for personal wealth creation as it impacts positively on financial stress management.
The high incidence of sudden death among executives in the country was decried during the retreat while members of staff were enjoined to adopt healthy lifestyle which encompasses healthy eating habit, physical exercises, relaxation and proper organization of activities.
