Firm tasks indigenous firms on new opportunities




Learn Africa Plc has stressed the need for indigenous companies to explore new business opportunities that would enable them survive unfavorable business environment and accelerate company’s growth.

The Chairman of the company, stated this during the company’s four day national sales conference for the company’s sales representatives nationwide.

He argued that only a well-focused and dynamic company could survive amid harsh operating environment, adding that there was need for corporates to seek resourceful and innovative ideas in order to become more competitive.

Speaking on the theme for this year’s national conference ‘A New Beginning’, the Chairman urged participants to enhance its various competitive position by improving in areas such as cost position, work ethics and corporate governance.

The company’s Managing Director, Segun Oladipo said the theme was chosen in view of current realities, spurred by the need to set the company on a new pedestal of growth and discovery.

He also expressed the company’s resolve to become more resourceful, determined and creative in its quest to exploit potential sales opportunities.

He urge the participants not to relent in their drive to increase the volume of sales, achieve higher profit and position the company to become the most preferred suppliers of learning resources in Nigeria.

He stressed the need for employees to exhibit admirable traits and actions that are worthy of emulation, while urging them to rise to the challenge of demonstrating greater commitment to the performance of their official responsibilities.
