The Sola & Ibukun Adeyinka (SIA) Foundation has opened applications for the third cohort of its Startup Foundry programme, offering selected founders access to structured training, mentorship and grant funding of up to $10,000 distributed across six ventures.

The Lagos-based nonprofit, which targets early-stage startups across sectors including agriculture, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and clean energy, said the programme is designed to address what it described as a persistent gap between entrepreneurial ambition and institutional support in Nigeria’s startup ecosystem.

Since its launch, the programme has attracted growing interest from founders across the country, with application numbers rising sharply from 196 in its first cohort to 417 in its second — a figure the Foundation said reflected widening confidence in the programme’s capacity to deliver measurable outcomes.
