THE Board of Legacy Pension Managers Limited has reappointed Misbahu Yola as Managing Director/Chief Executive for another term of five years, effective January 26 , 2016. Yola joined the Board as Executive Director in October 2008 and assumed office as the Managing Director in January 2011.

During his first tenor as CEO, Yola oversaw the growth of the contributor base and Assets Under Management by more than 100 per cent while profitability soared more than four fold. In addition, he has many initiatives to his credit particularly in technology and customer service. A stickler for compliance and good governance, Yola has driven Legacy to consistently good ratings and the company is among the leaders in return on assets.

Among the pioneer staff of the company, Yola joined legacy PFA in September 2006 as General Manager. He was the Chairman of Pension Operators Association between October 2013 and September 2015.

He holds a B.Sc Building and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is an alumnus of Ashridge College UK, INSEAD France, IMD Switzerland and Darden Business School, University of Virginia.
