More winners emerge in Ecobank’s promo

Six lucky winners emerged in the star prize category at the grand finale of Ecobank’s Giant Prize Give Away promo, in Lagos, as they shared a total of N10.5 million.
Specifically, Ekezie Godson Chigozie, Basil Ewaen Idahosa and Awala Ebiobowei won N2.5 million each, while Okoro Oghenevwame, Awoke Mathias and Onwuka Jude Obilor won N1 million each.
Other consolation prizes- four air conditioners, four generators, four LED television, four mobile phones and four washing machines were also won by customers in the draw monitored by the regulatory agencies in the lottery sub-sector.
Additionally, two inverters, two iPad Air and two smart phones were also won.
The bank’s Head of Advantage Banking, Mrs. Dami Oruwari, said the campaign showed that the financial institution has a lot of loyal customers. Ecobank Nigeria had renewed the promo in September 2014 and scripted to run through February 2015, to reward existing and new customers who actively operate their current and savings accounts.
But the Deputy Managing Director, Ecobank Nigeria, Tony Okpanachi, said Ecobank decided to reintroduce the promo because of the success recorded in the first edition.
To qualify for monthly draws of the promo, under the classic and direct category, a customer needs to make fresh deposits of N10, 000 into their current or savings accounts each month for 60 days, adding that depositing multiples of N10, 000 gives the customer more chances of winning and maintaining a minimum of N10, 000 for 150 days qualifies the customer for the grand draw. For the advantage category, new customers will qualify for the monthly draws by making fresh deposits of N50,000 into their current or savings accounts each month for 60 days, while depositing multiples of N50, 000 gives the customer more chances of winning and maintaining a minimum of N50, 000 for 150 days qualifies the customer for the grand draw.
