OLD Mutual Nigeria has been certified by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings.

The Institute awarded Old Mutual Nigeria the Top Employers Nigeria 2016 certification and Top Employers Africa 2016 certification based on the company’s dedication to the development of its people.

The annual international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognises leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organisation, and which strive to continuously optimise employment practices.

The Top Employers Institute globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people. The Institute has just announced the results of this year’s research into the employee conditions of significant employers in Africa.

Old Mutual Nigeria’s employee offerings were assessed on Compensation and Benefits, Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Leadership Development, Culture among other criteria.

Samantha Crous, Regional Director Africa and Benelux for the Top Employers Institute said: “Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. Our comprehensive research concluded that Old Mutual Nigeria provides an outstanding employment environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programmes that are well thought out and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”

Old Mutual Nigeria’s Group Chief Executive, Zomunoda Chizura said that the Top Employers Certification was an attestation to the fact that Old Mutual Nigeria is committed to investing in its talent and developing inclusive leaders who are key to providing exceptional service to clients and making a positive impact in local communities.

“We know that our relentless focus on our talent translates into rich and ample experiences for our people, and strengthens our brand as an employer of choice. We are delighted to be recognised as a leading employer” he said.
