CBN restricts agency banks to N1.2 million daily transaction limit

Agency bank outlets in the country have been limited to a daily cumulative cash-out limit of N1.2 million.In a circular, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said the move is aimed at enhancing the use of electronic payment channels for agency banking operations.
