OWING to several complaints arising from manual land administration in the state, the Ogun state government has said the introduction of electronic land titling was long overdue and necessary to curtail myriad cases of counterfeit documentation of land and property in the state.

After reviewing the totality of the submissions made on behalf of the state government by its counsel, Lawal Pedro (SAN), in its appeal and the respondents’ submission marshalled by their lawyer, Olumide Sofowora, the court declared: “In sum, the appeal lacks merit and it is dismissed.
