Six UNILAG students accepted into Bridge Fellowship Programme

Six students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have been accepted into The Bridge Fellowship Programme, one of Nigeria’s most competitive leadership initiatives.

UNILAG announced this on Wednesday in a report on the institution’s official website, saying it proudly celebrates the six outstanding undergraduates who have been selected for the prestigious programme.

“Chosen from a pool of over 8,000 applicants nationwide, their success highlights UNILAG’s culture of academic excellence and leadership development,” the report read.

The Bridge Fellows are: Oluwaseun Oludemi of the Faculty of Architecture, Kehinde Kadiri – Department of Building.
Ugonma Akanwa – Department of Building, Al-Ameen Abolare – Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Treasure Adeolu – Mechanical Engineering and Temitope Aiyebogan – Systems Engineering.

With an acceptance rate of less than 5%, UNILAG said this achievement underscores the exceptional quality of its students and their readiness to shape Africa’s future through innovation, leadership, and service.

On behalf of the university community, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, has congratulated the Bridge Fellows and wishes them a transformative experience on the programme.
