It was an exciting moment for the pupils, parents and management of Ade-Adegbite Nursery and Primary School, Obanikoro Lagos, as the school held its 2015 graduation/prize-giving in the school premises. The gaily-dressed pupils thrilled the parents to the fullest, as they displayed their talents through cultural dance and debate.

Miss Fashola Fagbenro Beyioku, Acting proprietress of the school, said the pupils have been groomed to face the next level of their academics.

“We have inculcated in them the spirit to strive for excellence in everything they do, expand their horizons beyond academics and moulded them through a wide range of talents, which gives them the skills and experience to succeed and become leaders in the global world,” she said.

Speaking on the achievements of the school, she explained that the school cannot quantify its contribution towards the advancement of the pupils.

“The quality of education given to each child has not dropped since inception of the school. We have qualified teachers that are ready and willing to give the best to the pupils at all cost,” she explained.

She stated that the school was founded by a foremost educationist and to have a balanced curriculum, the school included art and craft to encourage the children to use their hands to create innovative things. She advised the pupils to make good use of the holiday by reading. She also charged parents to serve as role models to their wards.

In her speech, Mrs. Opeyemi Ogunmola, a teacher, said the graduation ceremony is one of the numerous activities established by the school to give glory to God and also appreciate the parents for their financial support.
