Students of Adesoye College Offa, Kwara State, who embarked on an excursion to Atlanta, Georgia, the United States are back in the country.

Speaking at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, while receiving the students, the school’s counsellor, Mobolaji Adesoye, said the seven-day excursion saw the students interfacing with some colleges, universities and middle-class schools in the states.

Adesoye, who said the college ranks among the top 10 performers in West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)-organised examinations, and among the top five in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)-organised examination, added that products of the school were also making their marks in top notch universities the world over.

Also commenting on the trip, one of the students said the excursion afforded senior students in the school the opportunity to checkup their university prospects, adding that it also served the purposes of youth enlightenment and enabled them keep pace with their contemporaries globally.

He, however, added that he was motivated with what he saw at the excursion and has also learnt new entrepreneurial skills.
