GodTHE Deputy Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, Nike Adeyemi has called on Christians to remain fervent and steadfast in serving God, as this constitutes a total submission and expression to God.

Pastor Adeyemi, who made this call in Lagos, during the third edition of the ‘Overflow 2015, Music Concert’ organised by Passion and Praise, said that worship is an act of pledging allegiance, loyalty and obedience to the Lord.

Recounting what God has done in her life, the cleric said: “When I remember God’s goodness, and I remember I am in covenant with Him, it helps me not to be afraid. I need not to worry and after giving God a wonderful worship on a day like this, I feel great and awesome because I have adored and told Him Who He is to me.”

She commended the organiser of the event for coming up with the programme, where people can praise and worship their Creator. She advised her to nurture her relationship with God and guard it jealously, as God is taking her to heights.

Funmi Oloyede, organiser of the event, said Passion and Praise is a vision of unadulterated worship to God, adding that it is very important to create an opportunity, where people can worship God, especially now when things appear to be difficult.
