Shea butter producers seek traditional leaders’ support
The Newly Elected National President of National Shea Products Association of Nigeria, Ahmed Mohammed Kotangora, has said that support of traditional leaders will be needed in sustainable shea industry in their respective communities across the country.
He hinted this in a statements issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Bagudu Kalgo, yesterday at the inauguration of the new executive members at the Conference Hall of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Abuja, adding that the support of the traditional leaders would go a long way to promote and reposition the industry.
He promised the programmes would be designed to promote robust entrepreneurship aimed at empowering rural women who form the majority of shea value chain players.
