The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIarb) has opened its Ibadan chapter.
Inaugurating it, the National Chairman, Mrs. Adedoyin Rhodes-Vivour administered oath of office to its chairman, Prince Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) and other 13 man executive committee of the Institute.

The new chapter is the third to spring out from the Nigerian branch of the international professional body since its establishment in the country in 1999, coming after Abuja, the nation’s capital and Port Harcourt in the West.

Mrs. Rhodes-Vivour said the move was important to give some young and vibrant members of the institute in the area opportunity to expand membership and facilitate local accessibility.

Fagbemi, in his inauguration speech, said the inauguration underscored the significance of Ibadan’s pace-setting and consistent contributions in the justice delivery space in Nigeria.
