At Ahmadiyya Exhibition, scholars, religious leaders harp on sincerity, trustworthiness to move Nigeria forward

The scholars and leaders , who include the Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulazeez Alatoye; President of Elders of Ahmadiyya Jama’at, Alhaji Barrister Adeoye Abdulwaheed Akanji; Principal Jamia Mubasshirun of Theological College, Ilaro, Abdulazim Khawaja, and others stated this at the 2022 National Exhibition of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria.

The programme, which held at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, had as theme: ‘’Islam-ul-Almadiyya in Prints and Visuals.’ ’

Items on display include, Ahmadiyya History in Nigeria, Jama’at Intervention in Health, Humanity Fist in Nigeria, Muslim Television Ahmadiyya, Auxiliary Organs of Jama’at and Minaret International University and so on.

Alhaji Alatoye, who was chairman of the event, pointed out that with fervent prayers, trustworthy leaders would emerge in the forthcoming elections.

While speaking on one of the items displayed, “Our Jihad is Love, Mercy and Compassion”, Alatoye said contrary to people’s opinion, Jihad passes a message of peace and must not be termed “forceful conversion to Islam”.

In his lecture, the principal Jamia Mubasshirun of Theological College, Ilaro, Abdulazim Khawaja said Ahmadiyya was established to spread peace ,love , justice and the sanctity of life.

The exhibition reviewed the Ahmadiyya teachings as well as its achievements in the past 100 years in Nigeria among which were humanity services, Islamic education, media and architecture.
