Bishop Obembe And Others To Be Honoured

IN recognition of his contribution to the growth, uplifting of the body of Christ and the role he played as the former Chairman of PFN, Lagos chapter, the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Lagos Chapter, will on Wednesday, October 28, honour Bishop Olanrewaju Obembe and a few others, as the body celebrates its 30 years of existence.

IN recognition of his contribution to the growth, uplifting of the body of Christ and the role he played as the former Chairman of PFN, Lagos chapter, the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Lagos Chapter, will on Wednesday, October 28, honour Bishop Olanrewaju Obembe and a few others, as the body celebrates its 30 years of existence.

The PFN Meritorious Service Award will be presented to him at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Christ Church), Gbagada, along Oshodi/Oworonshoki Expressway, Lagos, at 11am.

According to a statement jointly signed by the General Secretary and the State Chairman, Rev. Toyin Kehinde and Bishop Olusola Ore, respectively, the honour is in recognition of the valuable contributions of Bishop Obembe, during his tenure, as state chairman of the Pentecostal community.

“The honour is being bestowed because of Bishop Obembe’s personal integrity, selfless service, exploits and commitment to the Body of Christ. It is on pellucid records that the tenure of Bishop Obembe recorded many milestone achievements in pastoral cohesion, welfare, training, communication, inter-personal skill development, empowerment, international exposure, revival and evangelism,” the statement said.
