Burna-Boy-June-2013-BellaNaija-CopyAfter months of working on his latest project, Burna Boy has finally dropped his much-anticipated sophomore album, On A Spaceship, with a mind-blowing performance at this week’s Industry Nite.

Staged at the Spice Route, Victoria Island, Lagos, the super charged night hosted by Spanky and Dj Consequence, had Burna Boy as the headliner, with a number of upcoming acts such as YCee and Saeon, who performed together, as well as Phenom and Milli that opened the night.

Burna Boy mounted the stage in grand style and to a rousing reception from ecstatic and kicked off with the intro of the album, setting the tone for the anxious expectation by the capacity crowd. Track after track, Burna Boy delivered with his trademark energy and dexterity, including the hugely popular Soke. The highlight of the show was the performance of the track On A Very Good Day.

Burna Boy was later joined on stage by a host of artistes including Iceprince, Dammy Krane, Small Doctor and even the show’s compere, Spanky. The performance wowed the crowd so much that a clamour erupted for an encore.

For guests and fans of the artiste, who were in attendance, the show was the best ever Industry Nite at the Spice Route so far.
“After watching him perform on stage, buying the album has become a must,” as excited fans said.
