“NIGERIA is a great nation and undoubtedly the greatest in Africa, the greatest producer of oil and gas. we have made good use of our independence in so many ways .

But we have a long way to go as regards our education, roads, power, shipping and some other infrastructure.
What is more worrisome is that many of our children who study don’t cone home because they get better offers abroad and that is very unfortunate.

In many areas of our education, we have moved from the first 11 to the second 11; none of our universities is among the topmost in the world.
We have been able to produce people people like Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr Nnamdi Azikwe, Tafawa Balewa, Chief Anthony Enahoro G. Tarka, and Samuel Ladoke Akintola among others.”

Regrets

“Violence and kidnapping must also be curbed by the government.

We cannot produce our own tyres, cars, motor cycles nor generate power but our media are doing well. Our youths should also be motivated and encouraged to be among the leaders of the world , I am proud to be a Nigerian.
The military rule was unfortunate. They got many things wrong and my hope is that the present generation of leaders would learn from them.

We want to produce eminent people like Ahmadu Bello , Michael Okpara and others.
Obsession for money should diminish tremendously, Our National Assembly and legislators at all levels should banish their obsession for money and behave like the Americans and British. We should imitate Singapore and Malaysia who gave moved from third 11 to first 11.

Nigeria should be a nation and not sectional. There should be no kidnapping and violence.

What happened to Chief Olu Falae is a national tragedy and every Nigerian should feel ashamed that the elder statesman was kidnapped.

He is a gentleman of whom we should be proud of.

My suggestions should be a launching pad for the present administration.

We have good leaders but ther number should be increased.”
