Cinfores boosts education with BrainFriend Platinum software
The country’s education sector is set to receive a boost with the launch of the 2016 version of Cinfores BrainFriend Platinum, an e-learning and examination preparatory software.
Speaking at a media briefing recently, Managing Director/Co-founder of Cinfores Limited, Mr. Ibifuro Asawo, said the innovation was designed to meet part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of giving access to, and enhancing quality education.
Asawo, who said his outfit has championed change in the education sector through its products and services in e-learning, schools/campus administration, scholarships management among others, added that the software has the capacity to provide enhanced education and give access to education to both disadvantaged and underserved children of school age, across board.
He added, “As a proven tool for enhanced academic success, Cinfores has already sold over 500,000 licenses of the software in both public and private schools, homes with a few states and national projects deployments.”
“Over seven OEMs have signed up to bundle it along with their devices in addition to the existing list of OEMs that have been bundling the older version of the software”, he said.
Asawo further stated that the 2016 version has many features including over 70, 000 questions/ answers/ explanations based on the national curriculum, 59 subjects including the three major Nigerian languages, and five vocational subjects.
“It also carries the new national curriculum for schools in Nigeria, e-books to guide students and teachers, video lessons and animations on themes and topics in various subjects, educational games, career guide for students and teachers, and aptitude test items, among others.”
“It is an enhancement on the previous versions of BrainFriend as the videos, animations, documentary drama and educational games are all new features that take teaching and learning to a whole new level. These features were designed to reinforce teaching while making learning more fun and simpler,” he explained.
Assuring that graduate without education background can effectively deliver quality lessons to pupils and students with the aid of the software, he noted that the software can also be used to bridge the gap for children in Internally Displaced Persons’ Centres (IDPCs) who have been cut off from the structural school setting.
