Coroners inquest report on lawyer’s death ready

The Coroners Inquest which looked into the circumstances surrounding the death of a lawyer, Apallos Anyile on October 15 last year has submitted it’s report to Imo State Government.

The Coroners Inquest which looked into the circumstances surrounding the death of a lawyer, Apallos Anyile on October 15 last year has submitted it’s report to Imo State Government.

The Coroner was chaired by Chuzzy Attama, a lawyer and assisted by the members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Orlu branch, Imo State.

Until his death, Anyile was an executive member of the Orlu branch.

The deputy governor of the state, Chief Eze Madumere, representing the state governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, received the report in the presence of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor –General, Mrs. Ama Eluwa; the Principal Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Nze Obinna Aharanwa, among other officials of the ministry.

The late Anyile’s body was found inside his bedroom in Umuebelebe, Amanator in Orlu Imo State, in his pool of blood. He left a wife and seven children. A gun was said to have been later found in his room.
