Executive Secretary of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Jaiye Alabi, has been installed as the 12th President of Rotary Club of Ewutuntun.

The event, which was held at the Rotary centre, Ikeja, last week had in attendance Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Otunba Henry Ajomale, as chairman of the occasion; District Governor, Rotary International 9110, Nigeria, Otunba Bola Onabadejo, as chief host; APC chieftains in the LCDA; members of the council’s Caretaker Committee and family members.

Delivering his acceptance speech after installation, Rotarian Alabi assured members of the club that he would use his tenure to contribute to the welfare of the people, particularly the less privileged.

The new President, who paid glowing tributes to past presidents of Ewutuntun Rotary Club for their commitment to the growth of the club, said he would build on the solid foundation they have laid.
