A credit payment link, checkout plugin, and transaction management system make “CredPal Pay” a major point of sale transformation and sales driver for merchants. Want to know more about this innovation that CredPal just launched? Let’s break it down for you.

The newly launched merchant suite “CredPal Pay” comes with a host of features that include a payment link and QR code for accepting credit payments online and in-store, a checkout plugin for eCommerce websites, and a payment management system for order processing and reconciliation. The holistic merchant suite is redefining the point of sale financing experience for both merchants and customers.

Although customers can pay CredPal partnered merchants through the CredPal app or the previous merchant platform, the company decided to take the buy now, pay later experience further by developing the all-new merchant suite.

Fehintolu Olaogun, CEO /Co-founder noted, “For us, the retail industry is an intersection between our service and the customers. Merchants’ strength as a distribution channel for buy now, pay later cannot be overemphasized.” He added that CredPal will continue to build products that merchants can leverage to make their business every customer’s shopping destination.

“This launch couldn’t have come at a better time as we recently closed partnerships with major industry players like Slot Limited, Fixit45, and JustRite Stores,” said Olorunfemi Jegede, COO/Co-founder. He also noted that another major upside for merchants that use CredPal Pay is that they can access business credit to support operational cash flow.

Needless to say that as a merchant, partnering with CredPal is worth considering, especially as the customer adoption for buy now, pay later continues to increase in Africa. Fehintolu further pointed out that “It’s hard to find any reason why businesses wouldn’t want a point-of-sale financing solution for their business. You have fewer abandoned carts because your customers can buy now and pay later which translates into a higher conversion rate and ultimately, a seamless transaction process.”

CredPal is the first Nigerian point-of-sale service to build a merchant suite with the aforementioned features for retail credit. There’s no stopping them as the co-founders say that there are more exciting things to come.
