
McCabe who was in Nigeria for the 2014/2015 convocation ceremony of his school, urged Nigerian students to accept failure but rather do everything possible to get an education.
Speaking at the event, which took place in Lagos State University, (LASU), Ojo campus, McCabe argued that Nigeria development depends on how the nation’s youths accept education and how closer they become to God.
He said: “My school is striving hard to balance the equilibrium between education and getting closer to God.”
KLCUA confers degrees on students who were successful in the final examination held in the 2014/2015 session. The University also presented awards to some distinguished personalities.
On the vision of the school, McCabe said: “KLCUA exists to serve the students globally. It is not concerned with changing the allegiance of the students; rather it seeks to bring each student to acquaint himself with the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Speaking with one of the awardees, Mr. Ibe Ifeanyi, he charged all Nigerian students to eschew violence and take their study serious.
Ibe further advised all youths in Nigeria to be focused, saying they can become whatever they conceived of becoming in life with hard work and determination.
