Firm launches products to secure uninterrupted education for children

The death of either or both parents or benefactors is increasingly keeping many students out of schools owing to attendant lack of resources for the sustenance of their academic journeys.

The death of either or both parents or benefactors is increasingly keeping many students out of schools owing to attendant lack of resources for the sustenance of their academic journeys.

This development makes its imperative for parents and guardians to make conscious efforts to protect and secure the future of their children and wards.

As a way of contributing its quota to reducing incidences of this nature in the society, and in keeping with its commitment of helping clients build legacies via transfer of wealth from one generation to the next, ARM Trustees Limited, recently launched two new products for its patrons- Education Trust and Education Trust Plus.

Both products launched recently in Lagos, are aimed at assisting parents and guardians secure uninterrupted education for their children or wards.

While the Education Trust is used to simply set aside money specifically for a loved one’s education, Education Trust Plus is a combination of Education Trust with a life insurance policy, and it allows for the take out a life insurance policy naming the trustee as the beneficiary of the policy. Thus, upon demise or incapacity, the trustee can access the benefits of the life insurance and apply same for the education of loved ones. Payment of an annual premium for the life insurance policy will be made from the trust.

Either of the two types of trust can comprise of a lifestyle component to provide for other needs of beneficiaries such as vacations, excursions, boarding etc
