“Fitness Core 2024 is our way of showing solidarity with the Olympics in Paris. The French Embassy is committed to making it a consistent initiative because they are very focused on sports, fitness, youth empowerment, and inclusiveness.

“The event facilitated networking opportunities. Many have made contacts, friends, and connections related to business, personnel, careers, and even fitness goals. This has a significant social impact.”

Fitness trainer Edwin August noted that physical health is more mental than physical. He urged Nigerians to prioritize their physical health regardless of age.

He stated, “Fitness is much bigger than people think. It’s more mental than physical. You need a bit of adrenaline to keep your mind active. We live in a country where a sound mind is essential for handling many challenges. Take your health and fitness seriously.”

Attendee Bibianna Michael expressed her excitement and called for more fitness programmes.

“This is my first time attending this event, and it is fun, engaging, and practical. I hope more events like this, which remind people of the importance of fitness, are held more frequently,” she said.
