How Obasi juggles various roles in pursuit of dreams

Visionary Chinyere Obasi has recounted how she has to juggle multiple roles to keep her vision and dream alive.

A law graduate turned aspiring tech professional, Obasi is balancing the rigorous demands of her master’s degree while interning at multiple tech firms, all without financial compensation. But beyond academics and career growth, she remains steadfast in her commitment to serving and uplifting others.

Before stepping into this phase of relentless pursuit, Obasi worked as a waitress at one of London’s most prestigious hotels. Though demanding, the job became more than just a source of income—it was a lesson in discipline, humility, and endurance. The long shifts and high expectations shaped her resilience, teaching her the value of service and grace under pressure.

Now, as she immerses herself in the tech world despite her legal background, Obasi is proving that determination and vision can bridge any knowledge gap. She dreams of one day standing among the world’s top tech innovators, and every lecture, every project, and every unpaid internship brings her a step closer to that goal.

However, her ambitions extend far beyond personal success. Obasi recently organised her first charity outreach in Lagos, providing meals for 500 people with the help of family, friends, and supporters. This act of kindness underscores her belief that true service is rooted in love and sacrifice. Her dedication doesn’t stop there; she actively works with out-of-school children, identifying their struggles, engaging with communities, and advocating for their right to education. For Obasi, every child deserves a chance at a brighter future.

As she enters 2023, her vision is bold and unwavering: to uplift the needy, support underage girls, and educate young women about their worth, rights, and potential. Through her actions, she wants girls to realise that they are powerful, capable, and destined to lead. Obasi is not waiting for a perfect moment to make an impact—she is doing it now, leading by example.

“I am a student. I am an unpaid intern. I am a servant. I am a builder. I am a visionary. And I am rising,” she affirms.
