The conference brought together students from across the globe to interact and be inspired by Noble laureates of various fields. It was also designed to bring down barriers and to promote cross-national friendships, cooperation, and a sense of mutual responsibility for a better future among the students.
Programme at the event included a special Science and Technology session to create a unique model, emphasising the connection in Israel between basic sciences and its applications. This was designed to expose the young participants to innovations and creative spirit of the Irsraeli.
Participants also had the opportunity of listening to some of the world’s most celebrated scientists such as Nobel Laureate, Ada Yonath, who won the Nobel Prize for the discovery of the structure and function of the Ribosome and Prof. Robert Aumann, who won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2005 for his work in conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis.
