Kuwait embassy fetes 1,249 households with foodstuffs


The embassy of the State of Kuwait has distributed food items to 1,249 families spread across five states of the federation.

The foodstuffs baskets were distributed during the conduct of year 2020/1441 Iftaru’s Sa’im project as directed by His Excellency Ambassador Abdulaziz Albisher coordinated with Nurul Yaqeen Islamic Foundation.

Among the categories of the beneficiaries were elderly people, orphans, widows, poor families and refugee camp in the selected states.


The chairman of the foundation Mr. Sufyan Abdullah added that the foodstuffs’ distribution occuring for the second year in a row took place in the following States comprising Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Niger State and Abuja , the federal capital Territory (FCT).

Abdullah who explained that the gesture was aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the poor and the needy in the society, prayed to Allah for continued blessings and protection for the State of Kuwait and the Federal Republic of Nigeria and their government.
