LASU graduates 76 First Class at convocation
The vice-chancellor, Prof. Olarenwaju Fagbohun who disclosed during a press conference said a total of 1,183 will graduate with second class upper division, 4,422-second class lower division, 418, third class division and 26 with pass grade.
“The university will also graduate 887 postgraduate diplomae, 664 of academic masters, 1,034 professional masters and 35 Doctor of Philosophy for the higher degrees.
Fagbohun also stated that 215 would graduate with Diplomas at the ceremony.
Stating that the 76 first-class graduates produced this year were the highest in the history of the institution; the VC said among them is First Class in the English Language, the first ever from the department.
Highlighting the university achievements, Fagbohun said the rise in quality and class of the graduating students was a clear reflection of the conducive and stable environment, as well as the overall progress the institution had made in the last four years he attained the post of the vice-chancellor.
