The newly launched Islamic organisation – Lutful-lahi International has emphasised the need for Muslims to give utmost priority to the welfare of their neighbours and be well involved in service to humanity.

The founder of Lutful-lahi international, Shaykh Mohammad Robiu Abdul Malik (RTA) popuplar known as ‘Baba L ‘Oworo’ during the launching of the organisation and yearly Maulud Nabiyy Celebration in Lagos, said more Nigerians should engage in farming activities, stating that food security is a major instrument for alleviating poverty in the country.

He encouraged Lutful-lahi society to own the largest single individual farm in the country. The farm, according to him, will not only produce food but also generate employment to the teeming youths of the country.

He said, “many people doesn’t know the benefits of reaching out to people. If you give out to one person, Allah will reward you ten folds. So many want to give out but doesn’t know the means to go about it and that was part of why the foundation was established”.

Shaikh AbdMalik was highly optimistic that very soon insurgency would be eliminated from Nigeria. He urges Nigerians to pray for the present administration to be successful in restoring the glory of the country.

“I believe president Mohammad Buhari will get it right very soon, if he rely on Allah and surround himself with people who have good intention, he will definitely succeed,” he said.

He urges the politicians to put the interest of the citizen in mind and should desist whatever will destroy the country.

Shaykh Abdmalik adviced other Islamic organizations to desist from the love of money, adding that this is one of the reasons why most Islamic scholars derail from the truth.

The chairman of the event, Prince Amidu Adekunle Oduborisa, described Shaykh Mohammad Robiu Adelodun Adebayo AbdMalik as a lover of people, both the young and the old, irrespective of religion, tribe or color.

“He hates to see anyone, lives a miserable life. He his antidote to misery, however, his quality and functional mentoring through education, dignifies sustenance, respectable abode, and relentless engagement with Allah (SWT) for ease and everlasting peace of mind”.

Amidu reiterates the need to establish a foundation for sheikh Abdmalik, saying: “Baba by the grace of Allah has advanced in age and we decided to take the pressure off him. We want his tradition of service to humanity to continue. We must not allow diminishing return to set in, hence our coming together.
