Nigerian Law School Class of ’84 holds 2015 reunion in Abuja
The graduands set of The Nigerian Law School Class of ’84 would be celebrating their 31 years of being called to the Nigerian Bar in grand style in Abuja. Tagged 2015 NLS ’84 Grand Reunion, the event will be held from Friday October 9th to Sunday October 11th, 2015 in the Federal Capital Territory.
The wide-range of activities of the Grand Reunion will commence with a welcome cocktail at the Chelsea Hotel on Friday 9th October. On the 10th of October there will be a business session at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja and dinner at the same venue.
Among the dignitaries expected at the occasion is the Class Monitor of the set Dr. Mamman Tahir SAN.
According to the statement by the chairman press and publicity subcommittee, Barr. (Mrs.) Kehinde Apampa, said majority of the members of the Reunion will use the opportunity to network, reconnect with each other for the first time in 31 years.
“The gathering will provide a unique opportunity to our members to celebrate, rub minds together and discuss latest legal education around the world while the event is and also an opportunity to chart a roadmap for the organization,” Apampa said some colleagues in the class of ’84 will be honoured at the dinner namely: Hon Justice Chima Centus Nweze (JSC), Hon. Justice Theresa Orji Abadua (JCA), Hon. Justice Mohammed Danjuma (JCA), Hon. Justice Olufemi Akeju (JCA), Hon. Justice Yargata Byechit Nimpar (JCA), Hon. Justice Misitura Bolaji Yusuf (JCA), Dr. Mamman Tahir SAN, Prof Maxwell Gidado SAN and Barr (Mrs.) Esther Nnamdi Ogbue.
