Mr Greg Odutayo, Director, “Beyond Blood’’, a Nollywood block-buster, said the movie would soon hit Cinemas across the country. Odutayo, a reputable film maker, said in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, that Beyond Blood” was a story of love, betrayal, hope and a desire to make a positive change in the society, irrespective of personal trials and tribulations.
He said the movie had already been released to various Cinemas across the country. According to him, the Cinemas are located in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Uyo, Abuja, Calabar, Benin, Warri and Kano The director said the movie which was shot in Nigeria and the UK, also chronicled the ills in our society and the world, including prostitution, drug addiction, HIV/AIDS, Homosexuality and Eastern European Human Trafficking gangs.
And a culture that legitimises tyranny and injustice especially of women trapped in the grievances of culture and tradition. NAN recalls that the movie had a successful premiere recently in Lagos with top personalities in the entertainment industry including Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Sunny McDon, Yemi Shodimu, Francis Onwochei and Wole Ojo in attendance. Others are; Kehinde Bankole, Kate Adepegba, Carol King, Adunni Ade and Joseph Benjamin.
The movie produced by Debbie Odutayo, stars Nollywood actors such as Kehinde Bankole, Shan George, Okey Uzoeshi, Joseph Benjamin and Bimbo Manuel. (NAN)
